What you install first

You install raze-cli — the command-line entry point. RAZE then prepares the managed local runtime and opens the local dashboard on your machine.

Install the CLI

Use pipx for a clean app-style install, or pip if you already manage Python packages directly.

# Recommended
$ pipx install raze-cli
$ pip install raze-cli

Set up the local runtime

This is the recommended first run. RAZE prepares the managed local runtime, starts local services, and opens the dashboard.

$ raze onboard

Open the dashboard

If RAZE is already set up and you just want to open the local dashboard:

$ raze dashboard
Runtime and dashboard updates happen inside RAZE
The CLI and the local runtime are updated separately.
